Hoya 'Rime' (splash)

Hoya 'Rime' (splash) is a sought-after hybrid cultivar that originates from China. Relatively easy-going growth habit.

CARE GUIDE:

Light: This hybrid loves a bright spot, but it is highly sensitive to intense, direct afternoon sun, which can easily bleach or scorch its highly variegated leaves.

Watering: Water thoroughly and allow soil to dry out slightly between waterings to prevent root rot.

Humidity 50% to 70% humidity is ideal for encouraging robust growth, larger leaves, and vibrant "splash" variegation. 

Temperature: Prefers temperatures consistently between 68–75°F). Keep above 55°F (13°C) to avoid stunted growth.

Soil: Use a well-draining, airy potting mix. An aroid mix, or a blend of potting soil with perlite, pumice, or orchid bark, works well to ensure proper drainage.

Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer during the active growing season (spring and summer).
